What We Do:

  • We’re an active and engaged group of businesses focused exclusively on increasing recycling of PE Flexible Film.

Our Primary Goals:

  • Double the recycling of polyethylene (PE) film packaging to 2 billion lbs. by 2020.

  • Promote and increase plastic film recycling through education and outreach.

  • Enhance and expand the commercial film recovery infrastructure.

Our Programs:

  • FFRG is implementing a national multi-stakeholder public awareness initiative known as the Wrap Recycling Action Program (WRAP). WRAP seeks to educate and engage more consumers and businesses in effective programs to recycle plastic bags, product overwraps and other film packaging. WRAP stakeholders share a common goal: to make plastic film packaging a commonly recycled material with a strong and ever-growing recycling rate.

  • We’re identifying opportunities and barriers to the recovery of PE film from small and medium-sized retailers, as well as developing a roadmap to help support elimination of barriers.

Our Resources:

  • Please visit our comprehensive resource website for more information on what and how to recycle plastic bags, wraps and film.
