|2012 Award Winners: SafePlay Systems,
KW Plastics and Sony Electronics (l-r)
Are you doing something original or groundbreaking with plastics recycling? The American Chemistry Council (ACC) wants to hear about it! Entries are now being accepted until October 14.
Each year, ACC’s Plastics Division holds the Innovation in Plastics Recycling Awards, which highlight innovations in the plastics recycling industry by recognizing companies and individuals whose vision and perseverance bring new technologies, products, and initiatives to the marketplace. ACC’s Plastics Division will present this year’s Innovation in Plastics Recycling Awards at ACC in Washington, D.C. on November 12, 2013.
The contest is open to all North American companies, individuals, and government bodies (including schools) that either (1) collect or process plastics for recycling; (2) manufacture equipment used to collect or process plastics for recycling; or (3) manufacture a new product made in whole or part from recycled plastic. Past winners include KW Plastics, Safeplay Systems, and Sony Electronics in 2012; and Axion, Nepco and Trex in 2011.
